Best kept campground near Haines! Clean and well kept sites, clean bathrooms. Sites are mostly pull through with some back in. Road can be a bit rough but I had no problems at all with my 27' RV. Nice hikes and forested area nearby. Boat launch nearby and some good swimming if you don't mind some colder water. I was surprised but the water had very little salt from the ocean. Campground hosts were friendly and welcoming...I am looking forward to returning next year!

Nice park, great hosts and super clean bathrooms! The only thing I would say is an awful lot of people drive thru the campground (fast)! Beautiful place 😎

Must go if you have time for a short visit surrounding of Haines AK. The photo opps are unlimited.

The park is 5 stars. The road is 1 star. Do not drive it with a motor home or trailer over 20 feet long.

Hike to Moose Meadows is easy, through forest to Rocky cove, round trip is 1.5 hours.
